Weddings and Baptisms
The Mary MacKillop Memorial Chapel is a holy place of pilgrimage for thousands of people who visit throughout the year and is the community chapel of the Sisters of St Joseph.
The Chapel was built in memory of the co-founder of the Sisters of St Joseph, St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, whose tomb is located in the Chapel.
The usual place for weddings and baptisms is a parish church. As the Mary MacKillop Memorial Chapel is a private one, there are strict criteria for having weddings or baptisms in the Chapel.
All baptisms and wedding ceremonies are in accordance with the rite of the Roman Catholic Church.
