When primary and secondary students are studying the life and times of Mary MacKillop, educators can provide a wide variety of learning experiences to gain knowledge and understanding as well as developing values and attitudes. These experiences may encompass historical information about Mary MacKillop but more importantly, heighten the students’ awareness of how Mary affects us in today’s world through the Josephite spirituality.
