Mary MacKillop Place Museum provides a range of education programs. These include:
Guided Tours
Our 90 minute tours are interactive and student-centred. The tours are curriculum based and ideal for students from Year 4 to 12 who are studying various topics eg Church History, Saints, Social Justice and Australian History.

School Holiday Program
This program has been designed to provide primary-aged children with opportunities to explore the life and times of Mary MacKillop – Australia’s first saint.
Children will be able to:
- Enjoy art & craft activities
- Listen to stories
- Explore Mary's home and the School house
- Discover Mary's travelling trunk
The holiday program details:
- Offered during the NSW school holidays (April, July and October)
- Runs for two hours (10.30am to 12.30pm)
- Delivered and fully supervised by the Education Officer (qualified primary school teacher)
- Parents/carers are welcome to stay with the children, take a tour through the Museum or spend some time in the Gift Shop & Cafe
- Costs $8.00 per child (includes morning tea)

School Retreats & Reflection Days
Mary MacKillop Place offers you the opportunity of enjoying a staff or student reflection day with a difference. Your reflection day may include facilitation, reflection in the chapel, a museum tour and use of conference facilities. Our staff are willing to help you design a day that will meet your needs.
