Corporate Membership

Mary MacKillop Place Museum was developed by the Sisters of Saint Joseph of the Sacred Heart (the Josephites). The ongoing operations, maintenance and development of this remarkable Museum associated with Mary MacKillop’s Shrine in North Sydney receives no government funding.  There is a need for corporate membership to ensure the standard of service and presentation is maintained.

One of Mary MacKillop’s famous sayings was: ‘God will provide’.  History shows that during the 1870’s in Adelaide a member of the Jewish Faith, Emanuel Solomon, was reported as saying: ‘Mary keeps saying God will provide, but until he does we will just keep helping her out’.

In 1995, Pope John Paul II said: “Mary MacKillop embodied all that is best in your nation and in its people: genuine openness to others, hospitality to strangers, generosity to the needy, justice to those unfairly treated, perseverance in the face of adversity, kindness and support to the suffering.”  When much of what once seemed certain and predicable in our world has been shattered, our work in promoting Mary MacKillop and what she stands for has great potential to bring hope to many.  Mary MacKillop Place Museum makes a difference in people’s lives and inspires and uplifts the human spirit.

The Sisters need your help.  Can you help us to keep Mary MacKillop’s dream alive?
