2008 Program

Guided Meditation

1 & 8 December

These Guided Meditations on the Gospels are designed to help us to experience Jesus, Mary and Joseph through thought, touch, love and reflective prayer as we prepare for Advent/Christmas.

Cost: $10 per session

 

2009 Program

Introduction to New Testament

9, 16, 23 February & 2, 9 March

This course is about learning to get in touch with the person and message of Jesus. It also looks at the formation of the Gospels.

Cost: $40 per course or $10 per session

 

Guided Meditiation

23 & 30 March

Participants are helped to experience Jesus in their prayer - both within their minds and in their hearts.

Cost: $10 per session

 

Life and Letters of St Paul

4, 11, 18, 25 May & 1 June

This is a brief overview of the life of the energetic missionary, Paul and of his letters to correct or affirm the efforts of his converts in a variety of church communities in the then-know world. (Year of St Paul proclaimed by Pope Benedict XVI).

Cost: $40 per course or $10 per session

 

Guided Meditation

15 & 22 June

These sessions introduce Guided Meditation as a prayer form where the Holy Spirit inspires our imagination and enables us to communicate with God in prayer.

Cost: $10 per session

 

Gospel of Mark

3, 10, 17, 24 & 31 August

This course is designed to show Mark's portrait of Jesus and will be helpful to better appreciate the 2009 Sunday Gospels.

Cost: $40 per course or $10 per session

 

Guided Meditation

14 & 21 September

Introducing a prayer form that will awaken the imagination and stimulate prayerful meetings with Jesus in the Gospels.

Cost: $10 per session

 

Mary and Women in Scripture

26 October & 9, 16, 23 November

This course explains the role of Women in the Bible and shows how Mary is the Model for devotion to Jesus.

Cost: $40 per course or $10 per session

 

Guided Meditation

30 November & 7 December

Each session offers practical experience in using the Gospels as a means to pray.
