In the Footsteps of Blessed Mary MacKillop

 

The 2010 Australian Pilgrimage travelled to sites in Sydney, Victoria and South Australia. The pilgrimage ran from 12 to 22 April 2010.

The pilgrimage offered participants the opportunity to reflect and become familiar with the life and work of Blessed Mary MacKillop, Fr Julian Tenison Woods and the Sisters of St Joseph.

Mary MacKillop's Feast Day

 

Thousands of pilgrims visit Mary MacKillop Place each year on 8 August to celebrate Mary MacKillop's Feast Day. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

8th of the Month Celebrations

 

As Mary MacKillop died on 8 August, the 8th day of each month has become a special day for pilgrims to visit Mary MacKillop Place. Pilgrims are invited to participate in the celebration of the Eucharist and pray at the Tomb of Mary MacKillop.
