Damaged and Lost Goods Policy

We guarantee the item you purchase will reach you in good condition. If it doesn't or you are not completely satisfied with it for some other reason, please return the item to us (within 30 days of receipt) and we will replace or refund the full cost of the item. Shipping and handling expenses are not subject to refund unless the item was damaged or we shipped you the wrong product. If so, we will absorb the costs to send you the correct item.

Mary MacKillop Place will accept return of goods with a delivery note, within 30 days of purchase. If you have no packing slip, please return the goods with a copy of the order acknowledgement email you received on placing your order.

If you were given the item as a gift, don't worry if there is no price on the delivery note, we can trace the amount paid.

Returned items must be in resaleable condition.

When returning items to Mary MacKillop Place online, please indicate the reason for your return on the reverse side of the packing slip and include the packing slip in the box. For your protection, you may wish to send your return via insured parcel post. Please send all returns to:

Shipping

Mary MacKillop Place cannot pay for return shipping charges unless we have made a shipping error. All returns, including any credits applied for return shipping charges, will be credited to the credit card used in the purchase. We will make every effort to process returned items within 14 business days.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Mary MacKillop Place prides itself on providing quality products and a high standard of service to its customers.

Mary MacKillop Place appreciates that its customers want to purchase goods on line knowing that if they are not completely satisfied, goods may be returned and a refund, exchange or credit given.

If the customer has proof of purchase, Mary MacKillop Place will happily provide a refund, exchange or credit if the following criteria are met:

  • the item is in its original condition
  • the original tags, label etc are still intact
  • the item is in its original packaging (if any)
  • the item is returned to Mary MacKillop Place within 14 days of dispatch to the customer

Privacy and Security Policy

Collection and Use of Information

Mary MacKillop Place collects personal data for the purpose of providing a specific product requested by the customer. Certain information may be required in order to provide this product, such as full name of customer and recipient, authorised users, e-mail address, billing address, contact phone numbers and credit card number.

The information collected may also be used to inform the customer of additional products, which may be of interest to them. All marketing material sent to the customer will include an option for the customer to request removal from mailing or contact lists for any future marketing.

Disclosure of Information

Mary MacKillop Place will not disclose any personal information such as your name, address, email, telephone number to any person outside of the organisation, unless the customer has authorised us to do so or unless required by law to disclose such information. Furthermore, under no circumstances will Mary MacKillop Place sell or receive payments or services for disclosing customer's personal information.

Off-line Payment

As an alternative to purchasing online, you can call our Shop Staff 7 days a week between 10.00am and 4.00pm from within Australia on (02) 8912 4894.

Three-digit Validation Code

When you order from Mary MacKillop Place, you will be asked for your credit card number and expiry date. You will also be asked for a three digit validation code. The validation code is a three-digit number on the back of the card.

Shipping

Your parcel will be delivered by Australia Post's parcel service during normal business hours. If nobody is at home at the time of delivery, the parcel will be taken to your local Post Office for collection and a card left in your mail box advising you of this. Photo identification may be required when you collect your parcel from the Post Office.

Even though Mary MacKillop Place prides itself in the care taken with packing internet and phone orders, sometimes accidents or errors may occur. Notification of faulty, damaged or missing products must be received by Mary MacKillop Place within 48 hours of your parcel being signed for. All prices are correct at the time of online publication. Prices are subject to change without notice. Mary MacKillop Place Staff will contact you before processing your order should there be any substantial price variance.

All items are promoted in good faith to be available at the time of ordering.

Sale items are only available at the lower price during the sale period.

Unforeseen supply problems or unexpected demand may occasionally result in stock being unavailable.

All prices displayed are retail prices and are inclusive of GST.

Mary MacKillop Place reserves the right to correct any pricing errors.
