That Very Troublesome Woman DVD
Julian Tenison Woods, a noted geologist and parish priest at Penola in South Australia, met Mary MacKillop in 1860. She was just nineteen years of age but determined that somehow she would work in the service of God. Between them they established the Sisterhood of St Joseph, an order of nuns destined to live a life of poverty in their quest to bring an education and a Christian upbringing to a generation of lost Catholic souls. This story begins on the banks of the Mary River at Maryborough in Queensland in the year 1879.
