The top 5 things to see and do

Mary MacKillop Place

A beautiful and tranquil haven and historical ‘must see’ destination.

The tomb of Australia’s first saint, Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop is located on-site in the Mary MacKillop Memorial Chapel, a sacred pilgrimage site, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, and open to all.

This unique destination also incorporates beautiful gardens, conference and event venues, a Gift Shop & Café, and a Museum – which provides insight into how this extraordinary woman lived and the site where she spent the final years of her life.

Wendy Whiteley’s Secret Garden

Wendy Whiteley’s Secret Garden is a lush harbourside sanctuary, lovingly created on former railway land and now brimming with winding paths, sculptures and secluded places to sit.

From here, you can continue exploring other beautiful Lavender Bay parklands.

Luna Park

Luna Park Sydney is a colourful harbourside amusement park, blending vintage charm with modern thrills. Its famous smiling entrance, classic rides and cheerful carnival atmosphere make it a lively, family-friendly destination.

With spectacular waterfront views, it offers a fun and unforgettable outing for families and anyone young at heart.

Habour Bridge Walk

Begin your Harbour Bridge walk at the steps on the corner of Burton and Broughton Streets in Kirribilli for an easy, scenic route into the city. The elevated footpath leads you across the iconic arches with sweeping views of the harbour, the Opera House and Circular Quay – offering some of the best vantage points in Sydney.

Once you reach the city side of the habour, you can continue your experience with the popular BridgeClimb. Bookings are essential and should be made well in advance.

Bradfield Park, Kirribilli Village and Markets

Bradfield Park sits directly beneath the Harbour Bridge and offers one of the most spectacular vantage points in Sydney. With wide lawns, waterfront views and plenty of space to relax, it’s a perfect spot for photos, picnics or simply taking in the harbour.

Just a short walk uphill is Kirribilli Village, a charming neighbourhood pocket filled with cafés, bakeries and boutique shops.

On selected weekends, the nearby Kirribilli Markets bring extra colour and energy to the area, with stalls offering handmade goods, fashion and local artisan products.
