Today, Mary MacKillop Place continues the legacy of Australia’s first canonised saint, offering a unique sanctuary of spirituality, education, and hospitality nestled in the business district of North Sydney. Embodying the welcoming spirit of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop and the Sisters of Saint Joseph of the Sacred Heart, it stands as an oasis of pilgrimage, inclusion, reflection and welcome for all.
Mary MacKillop Memorial Chapel
The Chapel is a key Catholic sacred heritage site, housing the tomb of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop. It is an internationally recognised place of pilgrimage and prayer.
Open to all visitors and pilgrims the Chapel offers regular weekly and monthly mass times and can also be hired for private functions.
