Our inaugural Christmas lights event, Hope Illuminated – Christmas at Mary MacKillop Place, invites visitors to wander through our North Sydney grounds as they are gently transformed into a festive wonderland. Throughout the site, you’ll discover spaces filled with the spirit of the season – from the shimmering Christmas tree at the heart of the display to a choir of angels, a playful candy cane lane and a cheerful Aussie Christmas corner.

Guests are invited to pause, take photos, and create memories among the displays. With hanging lights woven throughout the pathways and gardens, the entire experience offers a warm and joyful celebration of hope, community, and the true meaning of Christmas.
