Some of our works include protecting the heritage site of Mary MacKillop Place, supporting women in Peru, working with indigenous peoples, promoting justice issues, supporting education, offering grief programmes, family care and more. We thank you for being a vital part in sustaining our mission.

How Anderledy Lodge was named

In 1873 Mary MacKillop travelled to Rome seeking approval for the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Joseph. Here she met Fr Anton Anderledy, an English-speaking Swiss Jesuit. Fr Anderledy supported and advised Mary wisely. In her letters to the Sisters Mary said: “Fr Anderledy has been most untiring in anything he could do for us… I need not say more to give you to understand his kindness and goodness.” (30 June 1873)

We continue to honour this good and kind man, Fr Anton Maria Anderledy sj by naming this new Lodge after him.
